Jim Esswein earned a Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology as well as a Master in Business Administration degree. His professional designations include Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management, and both the Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designations from World at Work / American Compensation Association.

Prior to joining Swank Audio Visuals in 2006, Esswein’s career in professional human resource management spanned 20 years, primarily in Fortune 500 companies including Nestlé, Anheuser-Busch, and Emerson Electric. His background extends across all areas of human resource management in environments such as corporate headquarters, manufacturing plants, dispersed service centers, and HR consulting organizations.

He has long been an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Human Resource Management Association of Greater St. Louis, and the National Human Resources Association and its local chapter. He was also the founding President of the Quincy, Illinois Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.
